Hi, I'm Jessica
She/her
My name is Jessica Andrick and I am the owner of Andrick Counseling.
I work with adolescents and adults with depression, anxiety, relationship/family concerns and life transitions. I support clients with practicing self-compassion, identifying and working through shame, addressing areas in life that are causing challenges and developing strategies to live a more peaceful, manageable, fulfilling life. I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques depending on client needs, focusing on strengths, inner wisdom, self-compassion, and empowering clients. My hope is that clients experience greater ease and confidence in navigating daily life.
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Advertising from DePaul University and my Master of Education in Counseling from DePaul University. I worked in marketing for three years before becoming a school counselor. I spent four years as a school counselor before transitioning to clinical work.
I draw on both my professional training and my own lived experience to bring depth and authenticity to our work together. My hope is that you'll feel a genuine sense of safety, connection, and compassion — that we can face the hard truths with kindness, so real change becomes possible. I also believe that humor, used thoughtfully, can build connection and resilience along the way.
I welcome all people, regardless of race, sexual orientation, gender identity, or immigration status.

Outside the therapy room, you'll find me with my husband and two kids, at a concert, watching or playing sports, on a run, on the yoga mat, or chasing a new experience around the city — always looking for a reason to laugh.
